Jeff Korsen
(senior pastor)
is the Senior Pastor of Genesis Community
Church. Genesis is the second church the Lord
has led Jeff and his wife Nina to plant in the
Denver, Colorado area. During the 80s to
mid-90s, he pastored a successful
non-denominational congregation in North Denver
for 13 years. Now, after 11 years of
professional consulting, Jeff has returned to
his career calling in pastoral ministry. His
insights into biblical interpretation combined
with his rich pastoral experience, have uniquely
positioned him with a fresh approach to teaching
the Word of God and releasing faith. His
messages are pertinent to everyday life and
inspire hope and faith in God’s ability to
change lives.
Jeff is a native to Denver. He and Nina are
celebrating 30 years of marriage and have one
daughter, Lisa, who lives in Denver..

Nina
Korsen (pastoral staff)
has taught biblical principles in church
services, leadership conferences, ladies'
seminars and retreats across the United States.
In addition to teaching, she presents God's Word
through drama and dance. Along with her husband,
Jeff, she founded and co-pastored The Cathedral
of Praise for 13 years. They have also served in
a leadership capacity for several ministerial
associations.
Additionally, Nina is Founder and Director of
Encounter Women’s Ministries and Fellowship of
Women Leaders, through which she desires “To
empower women to impact their world with God’s
love.”

Jim Cambron
(children's director)
has served in several areas of volunteer service within the Body of Christ for the past 21 years. However, none is more dear to his heart than that of children's ministry. He has been professionally trained by one of the best known, nationally recognized children's ministries in the USA – Kid's on the Move and Willie George Ministries. As the Children's
Director for GCC, his heart is to see children
come into a life-giving relationship with Jesus,
just like mom and dad.
Jim and his wife Barbara have been married for
18 years and live in the southern suburbs of
Denver in Highlands Ranch. Jim owns his
own roofing business called JBC Contracting.

Barbara
Vigil-Cambron (nursery director
and ministry administrator) has been serving in church ministry for over 16 years. She has written and directed
several inspired dramas and dance pieces
which have brought Christian principles to life
and touched the lives of many. Barb is presently
a project manager for US Bank, and has many
years experience in application development,
desktop publishing, and project management. She
also serves Genesis Community Church as our
ministry administrator, assisting Pastor Jeff
and Nina with numerous aspects of church
department and programs administration.
Barb and her husband Jim have been married for
18 years and have three children (Jesse 14,
Elise 17, and a married daughter, Stacie), and
four grandchildren. She has lived all but 2
years in Colorado. |

Mark Miller
(board member) has been in ministry in Denver for the past 26 years. His endeavors include being on the church-planting teams of four churches and being instrumental in the networking of independent churches and ministries in the Rocky Mountain region as well as nationally.
In addition, he and his wife Susanne pastored their own church for 15 years along with starting a successful Christian school in the southwest area of the city.
He is currently the Program Director for the Lawrence Street facility of the Denver Rescue Mission. There he oversees the operation of their drug and alcohol rehabilitation program as well as the shelter and medical services.
Mark currently serves Genesis Community Church on the Executive Board of Directors and is a
long-time trusted advisor and counselor to Pastor
Jeff. |

Jason Brittain
(board member) is the Senior
Pastor of Creative Ministries in Cheyenne,
Wyoming. When he and Marilyn first arrived to
take the pastorate there, the church was down to
8 people and just about ready to shut the doors.
Since that time, Jason has established a
healthy, growing church which is reaching the
community of Cheyenne with a powerful message of
life in Christ.
Jason is well known for his gift of teaching and bringing encouragement any time he speaks. He is a Team Member of Faith Covenant Ministries, the organization of churches with whom Nina and Jeff are ordained. In addition to pastoring, he serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Genesis
Community Church. He has also agreed to oversee the Genesis Partner Fund,
a financial giving program which enables people
to contribute financially to Genesis Community
Church. Jeff regularly submits his life and
church vision to Jason's counsel.

Rodd Jaramillo
(board member) pastors The Life House
Church which began as a vision of Rodd and Rochelle several years ago
when introduced as the Career Adult Ministry at their home church, Redeemer Community Church, Denver Colorado. The purpose was to create an environment where the life of God could reach those who were not interested in the traditional approach of "Church", yet wanted to experience the happiness and joy that God desires his children to enjoy daily.
Rodd and Rochelle have been married for eight years and have five children. Rodd is an addicted golfer with several years of inexperience. Rochelle is a stay at home mommy and one of Colorado's finest cooks. (just look at Pastor Rodd!) They served as youth Pastors and Young Adult Pastors for several years before starting The Life House Church.
Rodd currently serves Genesis Community Church
on the Executive Board of Directors. Jeff
regularly submits his life and church vision to
Rodd's counsel. |
