Leadership Team . . . How may we help you?

JK-Web-B&W-72dpiSenior Pastor
Jeff Korsen is the Senior Pastor of Genesis, which is the second of two churches he has started in the Denver Metro area. Having pastored for most of the last 35 years, his passion is building a community of Christ followers where God’s presence is experienced in love and power. His insights into biblical interpretation combined with his rich pastoral experience have uniquely positioned him with a fresh approach to teaching the Word of God and releasing faith in others. His messages are pertinent to everyday life and inspire hope and faith in God’s ability to change lives.

Jeff is a native to Denver. He is a graduate of Faith Bible College, and serves as an apostolic team member alongside Dr. Earl Johnson, senior team leader of According to Pattern, Carson, CA. He and Nina reside in Thornton, CO, and have been married since 1977. He is a very competitive racquetball player and loves spending time with technology. Their daughter Lisa, who lives in Denver, is actively involved in her community and in a vibrant local church.

Senior Associate Minister
Nina Korsen is passionate about genuine relationships, walking with people on their spiritual journey, with mentoring, guidance and friendship. Along with that, she is a seasoned minister, with years dedicated to all aspects of church ministry. She teaches in church services, leadership conferences, ladies’ seminars and retreats across the U.S. and internationally, and has been part of the leadership of several ministerial associations.

Nina’s primary role is as a prophetic seer to the vision of Genesis and the Genesis Family, as well as to other ministries with whom we are related. She brings prophetic direction and God-inspired words that strengthen, encourage and impart freedom. Her blog speaks prophetically to what’s happening in this hour.    Pastors of Small Groups (genesisCONNECT)

Eric and Karen Stacks are the Pastors of Small Groups at Genesis. They are members of the international Small Group Network and have received training from Steve Gladen (ACCELERATE!; Saddleback Church), Mark Howell (Small Group Ministry), and Allen White (Small Group Ministry Consultant). They have a passion to see lives transformed through healthy small group communities. True fellowship not only connects people to each other but also connects them to Jesus.

They both hold Bachelor of Music degrees from Southwest Baptist University in Missouri and Master of Church Music degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky. They have served as worship leaders, small group leaders, and various other pastoral and administrative positions over the past 25 years in churches in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Colorado. In addition to ministry, they also have been teaching music in schools around the Denver metro area since moving to Colorado from Missouri in 2000. Currently, Karen teaches choir at Legacy High School in Broomfield, and Eric teaches choir at Mead High School in Mead. They have been married since 1991 and have 3 children: Tyler (23), Morgan (21), and Macy (19).

Trevor and Amy Roberts have been involved with counseling, prayer, healing, the prophetic, teaching, pastoral ministry, youth, deliverance, missions, and itinerant ministries for the past 13 years. Following their initial ordination and commissioning as pastors in 2012, they launched 601 Transformation Ministries (based on Isaiah 60:1) in late 2012. The mission of 601 Transformation Ministries is to heal and empower all people to love through prophetic and deliverance ministry.

Trevor and Amy are now ordained with Genesis and have a passion to release God to move in the hearts and lives of people…that individuals would have the opportunity to encounter God on a personal level. They each have amazing testimonies of how God came and encountered them through prophetic and deliverance ministry, launching them into the destiny they were created for.
